New Minecraft 1.8 Official Leaked Video

lördag den 3 september 2011, kl 18:16

So we finally have a real video on the new Minecraft 1.8 adventure update as they call it! These pictures are from a event in Las Vegas Minecraft convention!

So we already know alot about this update and that the major things is going to be this new 'adventure update'. Will come with a new Creative mode. Different animations! And so much more. Below you could see one of the new animations when you are using your bow & wanna fire some animals or mobsters!

The new minecraft should also come with a new lightning engine which could be why the pictures in this article may look a little different compared to other Minecraft screenshots.

Below you could see one new mobster called Enderman that we could see in the new Minecraft 1.8 update! A scary mobster that will come kill you if you just look at him...

Build in flying also seems like one of the new updates in the game. Not something I know if I like makes the game feel a little to powerful maybe... But maybe just for the new creative mode.

Also one thing I noticed is that it seems like tha game will lag less when you blow something up! In the video you will see when the guyis taking alot of dynamite and blow it up with almost no lag.

What you maybe also will be able to see on the picture below is the new biomes that could create nice worlds and rivers.

Not only will we have all those new thins but also NPC villages that the computer build for us! And also find abandoned Mineshafts a must have in a Minecraft game! Plus new particles in the water. Sick!

If you would like to check out the video yourself I'm gonna leave all the links & sources below.

Also it seems like the AT&T variant will be thinner than T-Mobile & Sprint with 8,89mm size. This is my next got some hands on pictures below:

If we compare this S2 variant versus the sprint & T-Mobile versions it seems like they are gonna come with a bigger screen 4.5" just as the Samsung hercules phone that is rumored to come in October! Maybe with a 1.4GHz processor to compete with iPhone 5 that probably will be here by then?

Apple's Future With New CEO Tim Cook! Bye Steve Jobs!

tisdag den 30 augusti 2011, kl 18:42

Tim Cook’s promotion to CEO comes at an helpful time for Apple.

Initially, the company continues to refocus alone all around iOS, its platform with the long term. And second, it continues to develop at a fantastic pace.

These two variables make an enjoyable but hard task for Cook, regarding equally Apple’s technique and its logistics.

One example is, now that iOS - the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - signify additional than two-thirds of Apple’s profits, and now that the iPad is a bigger company compared to the Mac, Cook may have to produce some strategic selections:

How to prioritize Mac OS X development vs. iOS progress. (Must Apple have place additional resources into iOS 5 this calendar year to have it out faster, and less into OS X Lion?)
When to get started on phasing out the non-iOS iPods and what to do with the iPod brand name. (Apple is already removing the “iPod” name from iOS, altering the app to “Music”.)
When - if ever before - to merge Mac OS X and iOS and how to proceed along with the Mac solution line. (Does the iMac ever before obtain a touchscreen?)
The best way to arrange the company’s leadership and org construction granted the emphasis on iOS.
These are not the sorts of items that automatically need to have fast action. But they are critical decisions to have right while in the long haul.

One of Apple’s fantastic characteristics is its patience - its ability to build goods little by little and incrementally. But a further is its foresight - its movement into markets in advance of its opponents, and its decisions to assistance or slice loose numerous technologies. Balancing the two is definitely an art form, and it will be fascinating to find out how Cook handles many of these moves.

But possibly Cook’s most significant problem - along with the one that can make his individual practical experience so valuable, along with a important good reason he’s the correct guy for your CEO occupation - are going to be to continue scaling Apple as it encounters speedy growth.

The shift towards iOS and less costly, portable computers - and Apple’s massive accomplishment there thus far - implies generating and advertising an ever-increasing number of gadgets annually. Cook have to not just drive interesting products enhancement, but have to also carry on Apple’s logistics revolution.

Consider the total quantity of products Apple have to now build and ship each year. This year, which includes all iPhones, iPods, iPads, and Macs, Apple could wind up delivery additional than 175 million gadgets - some 50 million far more than it did last calendar year, representing roughly 40% growth.

Compare and contrast that to some number of several years in the past, when Apple was shipping 50-90 million devices annually, including potential at a charge of roughly 10-15 million units per year. Apple ought to now develop at 3-5 times that unit charge annually. (Now you may see why Apple struggled to ramp up iPad 2 manufacturing quick ample previously this yr.)

And subsequent yr, Apple is anticipated to pass 200 million models to the 1st time, delivery all-around 215 million products, or yet another 40 million far more than this yr. Etc.

It wouldn’t be insane for Apple to get to ship 500 million units each year because of the conclude from the decade. So Tim Cook could have to figure out ways to turn into the kind of organization that could ship 500 million gadgets each year - from product design to iCloud server infrastructure for the deliver chain to production and profits.

Meanwhile, one thing that Apple absolutely doesn’t want is really a popularity for not being able to assemble adequate products, or ramp production quickly ample. Past the lousy picture, it could make an opportunity for competitors. So scaling Apple’s production is a large and significant concentrate for Cook.

(If you’d love to hear a lot more about this, check out out this episode of the podcast The Crucial Path, featuring Asymco author Horace Dediu. It is a fantastic indicate.)

Tim Cook’s transition to CEO has already been smooth and orderly. The company is in fantastic form and wonderful fingers. But it’s not on cruise command.

As Apple enters its upcoming chapter, Cook’s main conflicts might be scaling manufacturing, choosing how to prioritize its current firms, and determining which new corporations to enter. The next major updates: Apple’s holiday getaway product kick off function and its September quarter earnings call up, equally expected by mid-October.

Apple Release New iTunes Match Beta!

tisdag den 30 augusti 2011, kl 05:57

Apple has just released iTunes Match beta to developers in the U.S.

iTunes Match is a new service that Apple had unveiled along with iOS 5 and iCloud at the WWDC 2011 Keynote address in June. It allows users to store their entire music collection (up to 25,000 songs), including songs that they've ripped from CDs or purchased from anywhere else in iCloud.

Here's how it works!

iTunes determines which songs in your collection are available in the iTunes Store. Any music with a match is automatically added to your iCloud library for you to listen to anytime, on any device. Since there are more than 18 million songs in the iTunes Store, most of your music is probably already in iCloud. All you have to upload is what iTunes can’t match. Which is much faster than starting from scratch. And all the music iTunes matches plays back at 256-Kbps iTunes Plus quality — even if your original copy was of lower quality.

iTunes Match costs $24.99 per year and Apple has mentioned that beta subscribers will get an additional three months to cover the beta period with their 12 month paid subscraption. Apple has also advised beta users to take a local backup of their iTunes library as well as any song one adds to iCloud as Apple may periodically reset user's iCloud library during the beta period.

You can checkout the screenshot of the email that Apple has sent to developers below:

New iPhone 5 & 4S Rumors & Leaks August!

måndag den 29 augusti 2011, kl 22:35

It’s time for the regular serving of next-gen apple iphone rumors. The following series can be a great one, buddies. Supposed new iPhone parts tend to be seeping almost everywhere. Every single site making claims to own the real thing. It’s difficult to state which parts will be straight from Foxconn’s product lines, however, when they’re considered an entire, these components colour a unique photograph that Apple company is getting ready to drastically alter strategy and fully disrupt the mobile market.

Apple is reportedly going to announce the next apple iphone (iPhone 4S / 5?) either in September / October. Right now there are two competing rumors circulating that states Apple is focusing on a low-cost iPhone, probably the iPhone4S codenamed N94, and a higher-end iPhone 5 named internally as being the N97. Nokia problem?

Just during the last week, a of claimed iPhone parts hit the internet. Nearly all are of comparable layout to the existing iPhone 4 using a area for an actual Home button and similar all round scale. Macpost and Engadget each published exactly the same pair of “leaked” pictures today displaying what most believe will be the low-cost iPhone 4S. The various components tend to be described as N95 while using EVT1 (Engineering Verification Testing) date of ’03-March-2011'.

A number of other leaks including these types of very early repair components coming from ubreakifix any offer the report that no less than one forthcoming iPhone model will be very much like the present iPhone 4. Reuters furthered this specific claim a while back when it announced Apple has decided to release an 8GB iPhone 4. Eventhis chassis said for being for the iPhone 4S is incredibly to the one used in the actual iPhone 4 aside from a tiny little adjustment towards the antenna also, the lack of space for that home button.

Thus far, as well as discuss of a Cloud iPhone, appears to suggest that Apple is targeting the low-end of the industry with the next iPhone (4S). But that simply doesn’t feel correct. Apple has until now stuck to some fairly restricted 2 year refresh routine, which unfortunately suggested a serious re-designed iPhone was due last June. In which by no means took place.

Then this early morning, industry watchdog DigiTimes, stating upstream panel suppliers and as opposed to previous rumors, documented the iPhone 5 will have an LCD smaller than 4-inches and have a metallic back panel instead of strengthened glass utilized in the iPhone 4 and leaked out iPhone 4S components. This particular source says that the interior components, such as single-core A4 chip, are more likely to remain in this iPhone model. It’s not necessarily unheard of which Apple would out common products aimed toward various niches and divided just through aesthetic variations. It is however without having precedent of which Apple releases 2 iPhone versions simultaneously. The iPhone 4S and an iPhone 5, if they're both real, kills Apple’s famous Keep It Simplistic, Silly concept. Tim Cook, Jonathan Ive or the person who will take takes place and basically announces the upcoming iPhone, or in other words, iPhones (4S, 5...). All of these leaks tend to be hammering at an stupid rate, mind. Apple company might in the near future be experiencing the iPhone 4 fail almost all over again.(Hint: Gizmodo)
